When Chef Dad isn't home at dinner time... this is what Havi's I (and my) dinner looks like.
The next day Havi asked me for "those green round things, that pop out, you know what I mean?" - Nope... I don't know what you mean.... "You know, the green round things, the little things, that I pop out?" - OH... EDAMAME... sure!
With all the work we've been having done on the house... it's stirred up a few insects that are not welcome. Havi left a glass of juice on the kitchen table while we went out to swim class, when she got back she reached out to get a drink and came face to face with this....
... I have NEVER seen her so freaked out. This is the same kid that rescues doodle-bugs all day long and tells us moths are adorable and so pretty. But I have to admit... a cockroach falls under a totally different type of bug. Gross.
Now she checks every drink... even the ones with a lid on :-)
