After a series of unfortunate events involving Havi's class at her current daycare we have decided to pull her out of the center and enroll her at a new pre-school. It was a tough choice taking Havi away from her circle of friends, but the right decision to make to help ensure she's ready for kindergarten next year - she will have one friend, Taylor, starting the new school too which will make the transition easier. Havi will start her new school on June 2nd and we're all very excited. Havi thinks it's pretty cool that Grandma will be here to meet her new teacher and see her new school.
The new school has quite a different approach to it's curriculum and we're looking forward to seeing how that works with Havi. We both think she's going to do really well there.
Havi will be part of a new pre-kindergarten class and will be a 'Zebra' along with Taylor. The school has an art room, library (with huge cushions to chill on while reading), a gymnasium, dance studio, computer room, swimming pool, splash playground and a covered playground. She'll get to take field trips on cute little white school buses and will be able to carry on her ballet with the same dance school during her school day. She'll have 30 minute lessons throughout the day covering reading, writing, science, maths, art, computers, Spanish and PE.
I'm thinking about finding out if I can afford to enroll too... it sounds like so much fun!
