OK, so not exactly, but they did dump a giant pile of snow in the middle of the square at the Hill Country Galleria! So we went to play...
After a while the older kids got a little too rambunctious with snowballs so we went to warm up with hot chocolate at Starbucks.
As we continued our countdown to Christmas Taylor and her Mum and Grandma invited us to go see the Nutcracker performed by Ballet Austin with them.
Taylor and Havi got dressed up in their prettiest party dresses and we went out for lunch before driving downtown to the theatre.
Up until this year Austin has had a trail of lights through Zilker Park. Sadly this year it wasn't to be, but they'd displayed the Nutcracker characters around the outside of the theater for cute photo opportunities.
Havi loved seeing a really ballet performance and was quite engrossed in the story. It was a fun trip thanks to Pam, Taylor and Sue.
