Havi is a talker... which makes this post all the funnier.

On a recent visit to my office we bumped into a colleague, Dardi, in the bathroom. Dardi simply asked Havi how old she is now which led to this answer:

I'm four and a half, well actually four and three quarters. I'm going to be five on May 30th and we are going to go to Disney for my birthday in Florida. My Grandma, Granddad and Auntie Dan are coming as well from England. My Mum is from England, that's where she was born and my Dad is from Cuba, that's where he was born. In Cuba there is an evil man named Fidel Castro and that's why my Dad came to Texas because that man is not nice.

So... you're four?

The Magical Wedding

The magical wedding that had been on Havi's countdown for what seemed like forever was last weekend.

Havi had a great time... she patiently waited for a glimpse of the bride...

Grinned from ear to ear when she got to pose with Kendra - who looked beautiful...

... and then of course posed with silly glasses and hats in the huge photobooth at the reception! Best idea ever!

A countdown success!

It was a beautiful wedding and we wish Kendra and KC many, many happy years ahead :-)

.. the longest pre-school romance ever goes to....

Carlo and Havana!

We went to see Rio on Sunday and just happened to bump into Carlo and his Dad, brother and cousin. The second Carlo saw Peter he ran to sit next to Havi... very cute!

The kids loved the movie... then we tried out yet another new frozen yogurt place afterwards.

Box!

Who needs chairs and toys when you have a box... and a cat?

Dance, Dance, Dance.....

The ballet school that Havi goes to has a recital every other year, on the 'off' year they have a demonstration. Havi and her class have been hard at work practicing their tap dance and their ballet dance for the show on May 21st... the day we go to Disney! So sadly Havi will miss it - but luckily they had a parent observation day last week and we got to see their progress so far.

We completely forgot to take the camera - but because of the wonder of smart phones, we managed to get a few pictures and some video anyway :-)

They all looked very cute...





They're still working on the ballet dance (I Feel Pretty) but Havi's doing pretty well considering she's 'stand in' for anyone missing each week!

Happy Birthday Abacus!

Havi's pre-school celebrated it's one year anniversary with a fun party filled with balloons, frozen ice drinks, cake, face painting and a kids concert.

Peter and I arrived just in time to see Havi getting her face painted by Kiwi the Clown who is an expert face painter! Taylor loved her design and got the same - cute.
