A conversation while watching Elmo talk about dinosaurs...

Havi: "Mummy, my favourite dinsoaurs are the flying ones, the T-rex and the leaf eating ones. Which are your favourite?"

Me: "Erm, I like the triceratops (only name I could think of)"

Havi: "Ohhh, pretty. I like that one too. Did you know the baby dinosaurs didn't die yet, they're not bones? They're nice dinosaurs."

Me: "No, I think they all died."

Havi: "Well, no, they didn't. And they're friendly."

Well... OK then.

While lounging on the sofa with strep throat...

Havi: "Yes, wahoo." (Throwing her fist in the air watching TV)

Me: "Wahooo."

Havi: "Ooops, I forgot to be quiet and resty because I'm sick."

Me: "That's OK, you can still move and speak, but we're just gonna chill out and get better today."

Havi: "Well, I'll just be quiet and get better then."

Havi: "That's Hawaii."

Me: "You're right, how did you know?"

Havi: "Because I have a smart remember."

Me: "Oh, you have a good memory?"

Havi: "Yes, you know my grandpa used to live in Hawaii?"

Me: "Oh really?"

Havi: "Yeah, because he went there because there is no swimming in England."

Well, now you know!

Valentine's Day

We woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning, the sun was shining and it was quite warm for February... so we decided to head off to the zoo for Valentine's Day.

Havi had so much fun seeing all the animals (and 'life size' posters of Buddy from Dinosaur Train). It's funny to see how zoo visits have changed over the last three years with her. We were also chocked to see Havi is 40.5 inches tall!!! When did that happen?

Her favourite thing was feeding the deers, llama's, sheep and goats. She has no fear!



Our morning trip to the zoo ended up turning into a lunch stop and Valentine's cupcakes from Hey Cupcake. We passed three of the shiny old airstreams on the way to the zoo, so it would have been wrong to not stop on the way back :-)

Daddy and Havi also found an restored 1957 Chevy Belaire and had to take a picture with it!
