Seven Weeks and Four Days

Havana's smiles are happening a lot now, especially when she's just had a long nap and her belly is full! She's

following objects from side to side and up and down, and she reaches for them too. Her personality is starting to shine through... she is stubborn like her Daddy, well, her Mummy is pretty stubborn too! But she's also a little cheeky monkey :-) She loves to sit propped up and look around, moving her arms and legs about... she's just too cute!

She is quite the little water baby and LOVES her baths... she's not to keen on the getting dry and dressed part that comes afterwards though! We have a little paddling pool that we're going to try out on the deck when Auntie Dan gets here next week - fun, fun, fun.

BREAKING NEWS - JULY 17TH, 2006 - FIRST SMILE

Today Havana gave me the best present ever, a huge, gummy smile. I knew if I said "Give Mummy a smile" enough times she would give in!

I managed to capture a smaller smile to share but hopefully we'll be getting many more big ones.

Six Weeks and Five Days

Dare I say it - but I think we're getting close to having a schedule with Miss Havana's busy days! The last week has been very similar each day, so let's see if it sticks.

Havana is getting more and more alert, but we've yet to see some cheeky smiles from her, I think she's waiting until Auntie Dan gets here. She loves her bouncy chair when we put the toy bar on, and hots at the toys to make them rattle - then looks completely shocked when it makes a noise. Dancing with Daddy to his loud music is still a lot of fun too.
