After meeting some friends at The Domain, we sat outside for a while before heading home. Havi was busy sketching... and before I knew it she'd almost perfectly copied the Subway sign!
I thought it was pretty cool!
It really is hot in Texas. So every weekend we try to find a new place around town to cool down.
A couple of weekends ago we met Morgan (along with her Mum and baby brother) at a new splash park in North Austin. The Quarry Splash Pad - like this BLOG post, we tried the slide, then deemed it a little dangerous. The rest was all kinds of cool fun!
Even when we're shopping we manage to find a fountain to cool down in!
