Time to SWIM!

So Saturday morning brings the first of Havi's swim lessons without Peter or myself in the pool.

As it's getting closer Havi is showing signs of being a little anxious, so I've been talking it up. We've talked about how Ian is taking lessons so they can both swim on our net trip to the beach house. We've talked about how she might be able to swim by the time Taylor's swim party is here... and we've been swimsuit and goggle shopping.

Havi had fun modeling her swim stuff in the bath so we could send pictures to Grandma and Granddad and Auntie Dan... hopefully we've hyped it up enough that she'll feel confident on Saturday. Fingers crossed :-)

Shoes just aren't perfect... unless they are yellow!

A few months ago I bought Havi some white Converse All Stars... she has never once put them on her feet. White is apparently not a cool shoe colour! So, I had the idea to make them un-white this past weekend.

After a trip to the craft store we came back armed with yellow fabric paint, pink 'puffy' paint and sparkles. We had a fun time painted, gluing and being shoe designers and her new Lellow (that's not a typo) shoes were a hit at school on Monday.

80 days until Havi's first ballet recital - I cannot wait.

87 days until Havi's fourth birthday. How almost four years have gone by, I have no idea.

98 days until Havi has a new cousin :-)
