Grandma's Visit 2013

What's the best thing ever? Grandma visits, that's what. Grandma flew over on June 28th and stayed for a little bit over two weeks and it was fantastic.

This year we got to take her to the beach, which was all kinds of fun.

Havana and Grandma spent their birthday gift cards for Build-A-Bear. They wondered off, hand in hand, to create the perfect bears.

And Paws and Austin were born.

Havana bought Monopoly with some birthday money and Grandma taught her how to play. She's scarily good at it!

It was Auntie Brooke's 40th Birthday while Grandma was here so she helped us paint and stencil a plant pot, then plant some beautiful plants for Brooke.

Then we sneekily left it on Brooke's porch :-)

We also took Grandma to Rockin' River in Round Rock and floated the lazy river for a few hours.

The meanies wouldn't let 47.5inch competent swimmer Havana on the 48inches or taller slides, but she still had lots of fun.

All in all it was a great visit from Grandma and we're so happy we got to share the beach with her too :-)
