Havi has been lucky enough to have Daddy Day's from the time I went back to work when she was 12 weeks old. Apart from a few months when I stayed home with her, she's had her Tuesdays and Thursdays spending time with Daddy.
Over the years they've been on so many little adventures together and I've loved hearing about them when I got home from work. Everything from trips to the park in her luxury bike trailer, trying out every inflatable place north of the river, gymnastics classes and swim classes, to catching a movie or a frozen yogurt treat. I know Havi is going to have very fond memories of these days...
Today was their last official Daddy Day. It's a week of lasts ahead of next weeks week of firsts.
They started the morning off with a swim lesson, then had lunch together at Phil's Ice House - which of course MUST be followed by Amy's Ice Cream!
Then they came home for some Mum-Unapproved Sponge Bob Square Pants viewing and a teddy bears tea party!
The later headed back out for gymnastics before meeting me at her school to meet her new Kindergarten teacher.
The day was not complete without some stories before bed. Normal voice or silly voice?
I know Peter will miss these days as much as Havi will... now they'll just have to get up to mischief on the their Daddy Afternoons each day after school :-)
