Both of the big DIY stores - Home Depot and Lowes - hold a children's event every few weeks. I didn't really think Havi would be interested so never signed her up... until we were looking for ways to beat the heat a few weeks ago.
We met Morgan at Home Depot on the Saturday morning... and voila, the kids made their own coaster sets! They had so much fun and left with their project, an apron, a badge and a certificate!
The following week Havi and I went to Lowes and built a working tow truck! Again.. leaving with her project, a rival apron and a patch.
She enjoyed it so much, pretty sure we'll be going back!
