Busy week...

Well Havana had a busy week. She got to swim in a BIG pool, she had her first day with Colleen, Mummy went back to work so she had her first full day with Daddy and sadly Auntie Dan went home.

She had her first swim in Ron and Colleen's pool last weekend and loved it. She was kicking her little legs (even though her nappy weighed about 50lbs when it got full of water) and smiling happily. Her first swim was rudely interrupted by a thunderstorm – but that allowed her to fall fast asleep, nappy-less, wrapped in a big warm fluffy towel. Ah, bliss.

Her first day with Colleen went OK, she was a little sad, but then again she hadn’t seen Colleen for five weeks and that’s half her lifetime! A few more days together and they’ll be having heaps of fun. Her first full day with Daddy went great, they played a lot and Daddy read her three books through out the day – she chattered along with him. Lot’s of fun.

We also had to say goodbye to Auntie Dan :-( She had a great time here and we loved having her. Dan was able to get some wonderful smiles and stories from Havana who I think is missing having her around… can’t wait for Christmas to come around.
