Last Friday (6/30/06) was the day of Havana's one month check up. She weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 5oz, that's 3lbs heavier than the day she left the hospital!!!! She has also grown to 21 1/2 inches. Everything was perfect and all her newborn tests had come back negative... so she's a happy healthy little girl.
That Friday was also the day that Havana decided that four week old babies don't need naps during the day... she stayed awake from 9.30am until 4.30pm when she finally fell asleep with Mummy on the bed. Luckily that pattern stopped the next day, Havana decided it was too tiring to stay awake so long!
On Saturday she watched her first England football match (against Portugal), luckily she was asleep by the time we got defeated in penalty kicks!
Yesterday we went to meet Denis, our friends Jeremy and Ece's baby who was born on June 11th, 12 days after Havana. He is ever so cute... but Havana wouldn't know, she slept for the whole visit! Like our little Cubrit, Denis has quite a background, his Daddy is American and his Mummy is Turkish, which makes him a Turkican or and Amerikish!!!
